Cargo hold

From EVEWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

The cargo hold of a ship is the area where the ship stores non-specific objects. Practically anything can be placed in a cargo hold (as long as it is large enough), from modules to drones to entire other ships.

Cargo capacity can be increased, by the purchase and installation of expanded cargo holds and like modules, and by the addition of astronautic rigs, but these are at the expense of the ship's speed and maneuverability.

Similar to a cargo hold is a drone bay. While drones may be stored in a cargo hold, they may not be deployed from there. Moving drones from a cargo hold to a drone bay (from which they CAN be deployed) requires the ship be docked at a station.
