The Kronos promises a nice array of abilities from its predecessors, the Megathron and Hyperion, capable of fielding a tremendous tank while dealing top-notch DPS. While you can only use 4 turrets at a time, they deal double damage(+100%). So those 4 guns essentially deal the same damage as 8 guns of the same type on any standard battleship, but you use up half as much ammo and energy to do the same damage. In PvP, a Marauder can be deadly in close-range combat due to its web bonus and lethality with blasters.

Like all other Marauders, the main weakness of the Kronos is its weak sensors. Easily jammed and slower to lock onto enemies, it can be a problem if you don't fit a Signal Strength Booster, though EWAR seems to be becoming less popular in PvP with ships that don't have specific bonuses for them.
